follow up HR Business Partners 
Our HR Business Partners will at all times defend the interests of our employees. Consider them the moderators of your complaints and suggestions. This way your issues can be discovered in time and resolved before they turn into an actual problem. All ideas for improving our coaching procedures are identified and presented for evaluation for improving the professional happiness of our consultants is our primary concern.

The HR Business Partners also identify all training needs. The processing is done by our HR department. In consultation with our employees, they manage the personal development plans (PDP) of our staff which stipulate the appropriate training programs but also include coaching advice for future projects.
 

innoversity 
Our Innoversity has grown into a strong structure that can respond to all training needs. Over 2.5% of our annual turnover is invested in this program and nearly all development plans are tailor made to suit the interests of our staff. Read more about the USG Innotiv Innoversity here.



internal communities 
As an extension of the coaching, performed by our HR Business Partners, our employees are assigned to communities according to their technology (e.g. Java,. Net, SAP, Mainframe, Infrastructure, ...).

These groups interchange the wealth of technical information in a structured way, so the facts always get shared with the right people. This results in a professional approach with true expertise.

Every community has its own manager who is responsible for all information exchange in his group and plays a vital role in presenting news and developments. Our HR department constantly supervises these processes.

Our half yearly ‘Pulse’ event is founded on the day to day activities of our technology groups, which decide – with the managers and our HR department - on the seminar topics and hosts for the next edition.

In periodic meetings, new procedures and ‘best practices’ are established that facilitate the management and activities (events, forums, seminars, etc…) of the communities.
 

USG After Work 
USG After Work is the collection of all extra curricular and social contact moments that USG Innotiv ICT has installed for its consultants for the past years.

This tradition has been expanding steadily and is supported by an internal project team that organizes up to 11 events a year. The After Work team is assembled from USG Innotiv field and HR staff.

Some examples:

• sports events: diving initiation, ping-pong tournaments, …
• recreation: carting, paintball, bowling, …
• movie sneak previews
• concerts
• personnel party
• Christmas drink and receptions
• incentive travels (4 or 5 day trips to Crete, Egypt, Morocco, …)

None of these activities is obligatory, but judging from the turnout and the positive reactions, we are happy to conclude that there is a great mutual bond between USG Innotiv and its employees. The After Work events are a crucial link in our teambuilding policy, so the HR department and the HR business partners are always very involved with its activities.
