Innotiv was set up in 2002 by the collaboration of two leading players in specialist project sourcing. Done Engineering specialised in the employment of process specialists, while the then Spekan Engineering took care of the market for 3D Mechanical Design. Following a change of management in 2004, the activities were further expanded with new specialties. A refreshing and innovative market approach and professional specialist development with construction & infrastructure, facilities and techniques, 3D mechanical design and project sourcing, soon made Innotiv into a strong organisation that employed more than 100 people. As a matter of fact, Innotiv was one of the Trends Gazelles of 2005 and 2006 – recognition of fast but structural growth. In 2007 and 2008 USG Innotiv was again nominated by Trends Gazellen.
United Technical Solutions, trendsetter from start to finish.
United Technical Solutions, the former Edes, has been a pioneer on the Belgian market since 1978. Thanks to new, powerful graphical software applications, UTS became one of the largest project bureaux in Belgium, with more than 100 employees. Due to the expansion of the Antwerp docks, by the end of the 1980s both project and site management, especially in the process industry, were of great importance. In 1992, the company was renamed Edora (Edes Organisatie Antwerpen). Clients were focusing more and more on their core business and entrusting the recruitment of temporary and permanent employees to the specialist recruiters of Edora. In 1997, Edora was absorbed into the stock market quoted, United Services Group. The synergy benefits resulted in spectacular growth.
